The Board decided to undertake a targeted assessment of Requirement 1 in Honduras

The EITI Board decided to carry out a targeted assessment of Requirement 1 of Honduras, commencing on 1 July 2024. 

Following a targeted assessment concluded in November 2023, the Board set a new Validation  date of 1 July 2024 for the assessment of Honduras on corrective actions and against all requirements of the 2019 Standard. Given the lack of progress on the corrective actions, in particular on government engagement, the Board has agreed to turn the full Validation into a targeted assessment of Requirement 1.
