Drawing on GBA Critical Minerals Advisory Group’s work over the last six months on recommendations to policymakers on “Bridging the Cooperation Gap in Critical Battery Minerals: harmonising sustainability data across the value chain”, as well as our continued work on the Battery Passport, the session convenes policymakers and stakeholders for a dialogue on the levers and opportunities to address the most pressing bottlenecks to sustainably scaling critical battery minerals supply. The session highlights the GBA’s calls to action to policymakers on using harmonised data to foster consensus building and cooperation across jurisdictions, stakeholders and the value chain, and creates a platform for charting the way forward for collective action.
