Beneficial ownership transparency in Argentina

During the months of August and October 2023, and as part of the implementation of the Opening Extractives programme, the EITI-Argentina Technical Secretariat carried out a consultation process to define the scope and content for the disclosure of beneficial ownership for the extractive sector, in line with compliance with Requirement 2.5. of the EITI Standard. This report presents the activities carried out, the proposals received and the agreements reached by representatives of the private sector, academia and social organisations, together with the Ministry of Mining and the Ministry of Energy.
