Critical foundations: Negotiating and disclosing transitional minerals contracts
The EITI organised a combined session by the EITI Transition Minerals and Contract Transparency Networks on Tuesday, 30 April.
This session convened the EITI's Transition Minerals and Contract Transparency Networks to delve deeper into the main opportunities and risks associated with awarding transitional mineral licenses and contracts, as well as key contractual provisions in mining contracts, including those likely to undergo renegotiation and/or amendments. It aimed to foster a shared understanding of the business case for contract transparency.
