Hasmik Manukyan
EITI National Coordinator, Armenia
Hasmik Manukyan is the National Coordinator and Head of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative Secretariat under the Office of the Prime Minister of Armenia. In this capacity, she oversees the coordination and administration of the EITI implementation process in the Republic of Armenia.
Prior to joining EITI Armenia, Hasmik had spent more than 15 years in leading Armenian banks as a director of international banking, as well as approximately six years in various government agencies of Armenia. Hasmik’s managerial experience includes collaborating with international financial institutions such as the Asian Development Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the International Finance Corporation, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and the World Bank, among others.
Parallel to her professional endeavours, Hasmik has been a senior lecturer at the Slavic University of Armenia since 2013. In 2019, she earned a PhD in economic sciences.
