Jyldyz provides support to EITI implementation in Southeast Asia, Asia Pacific and Central Asia, with a particular focus on Mongolia and Timor-Leste.
As a professional in energy and extractives governance and sustainability, Jyldyz has extensive experience working with international financial institutions, mining businesses and government in the emerging markets of Central Asia. She previously worked for the World Bank, coordinating efforts to improve extractives governance, accountability and transparency in Kyrgyz Republic.
Jyldyz holds an M.Sc. in Sustainable Development from the University of St. Andrews, UK. She is also a PhD candidate at MIT Portugal Program in Sustainable Energy Systems with a focus on disruptive business models in renewable energy and energy transition. In her free time, she enjoys going to gym, golfing and cooking. Jyldyz is based in Lisbon, Portugal.
