Mali is eligible for the extension of its reporting and Validation deadlines.
Decision on a reporting and Validation extension for Mali
At its 46th meeting, the EITI International Board concluded that Mali is eligible for an extension of the deadline for publishing its 2017 EITI Report, and the reporting and Validation deadlines are extended to 30 June 2020 and 1 of July respectively. If the outstanding EITI Report is not published by 30 June 2020, Mali will be temporarily suspended. The temporary suspension be lifted once Requirement 4.8 is met. If the suspension is in effect for more than one year, the EITI Board will delist Mali.
Mali is eligible for an extension of the transition to the 2019 Standard. Its third Validation will begin on 1 July 2020 as scheduled and the transitional arrangements to the 2019 Standard will apply.
