The Dominican Republic is not eligible for an extension of the reporting deadline for fiscal year 1 January - 31 December 2021. The deadline for the publication of the outstanding report remains 31 December 2023.

In accordance with Article 7, Section 4 of the EITI Standard, Dominican Republic is temporarily suspended. The suspension will be automatically lifted if the report is published within 6 months of the reporting deadline, i.e. by 30 June 2024. If the outstanding data are not published within six months of the deadline, the suspension will remain in force until the EITI Board is satisfied that Dominican Republic has published EITI data in accordance with Requirement 4.8. If the suspension is in effect for more than one year, the country will be delisted.
