Clémence Contensou

Advisor – Francophone Africa & MENA

Clémence is an Advisor for Francophone Africa. She supports the implementation of the standard in five countries in West Africa: Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger and Senegal. She's based in Paris, France.

Prior to joining EITI, Clémence worked with the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, where she was in charge of extractives governance, and was involved in hosting the EITI 2019 Global Conference in Paris. She has over 6 years of experience in diplomacy and international development.

Clémence holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from University of Cergy-Pontoise and a Master’s degree in Political Science/International affairs from Sciences Po Paris (France).
