Ahmed Zouari

Ahmed supports the implementation of the EITI in Francophone African countries.

Prior to joining the EITI, Ahmed worked as an Independent Administrator for several countries in the region, and prepared studies on the commodity trading and beneficial ownership. He also worked as a Financial Management Specialist for the World Bank and as an Audit Manager for BDO UK LLP. He has over 10 years of experience in governance and auditing both in the public and private sectors.

Ahmed is a Chartered Accountant. He also holds an MSc in Audit & Accounting and a Certificate in International Public Sector Accounting Standard from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
